Doris Hine: 1910 - 2007Raised in the Blue Mountains - ran her own beauty salon in Manly in the 30's - saw the smoke rising in Sydney Harbour after the subs sank the battleship in the 40's - married her wartime penpal who played the accordian - settled in the Blue Mountains - raised the best daughter ever (i.e. my Mum) and two sons besides - stewed rasberries with increasing regularity - drove a datsun - always gave us hankies for Christmas - and now on to her next adventure...
